Costas Tsirides

Studied law in the United Kingdom and called to the English Bar as a member of the Honorable Society of the Middle Temple.
			
Lectured law with the Law Tutors and in particular in the subjects of Company   Law, Law of Contract, Law of Torts, Equitable Remedies and Executors and   Administrators.
			
Returned to Cyprus and established in 1970 his own practice, having founded the Law Firm of Costas Tsirides & Co. of which he is the leader.
			
Served as Vice-President of the Pancyprian Association of Advocates for 9 years   and as a member of the Cyprus Legal Council for 4 years. Also served a President   of the Limassol Bar Association for 3 years.
			
Represented the Cyprus Bar Association, as it was then, and later Pancyprian   Association of Advocates at various international conferences. Was appointed by   the Cyprus Legal Council, in July 1996 as an examiner for the Cyprus Bar   Examinations and in October of the same year was also appointed as the   coordinator of the said examinations. He has lectured and examined on many   subjects including the Law of Contract, the Law of Torts, Criminal Procedure,   Civil Procedure and Company Law. He served from those posts until 2002.He was   re-elected as a member of the Legal Council in June 2006 and simultaneously   appointed as a co-coordinator of the Cyprus Bar Exams.
			
In 2003 he founded THEMIS LEGAL STUDIES INSTITUTE, a non profitable organization for the continuous education of legal professionals, of which he is the president until this day.
			
He is a member of the Board of Directors and/or legal advisor of numerous companies registered and/or carrying on business in Cyprus (private & public).
			
He specializes in Company Law, Contract Law, Construction and Arbitration.

Pavlina Tsirides

Studied Law in the U.K. and called to the English bar as a member of the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn. She joined the firm in 1971.

She has been involved with international business for more than twenty years and she is a member of the Board of Directors of numerous companies, both national and international.

She specialises in Company Law, Trusts, Property and Conveyancing, Patents and Trade Marks.

Alexandros Tsirides

Graduated from University College London in 1996. He was called to the English Bar as member of the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn in 1997 and completed his Master of Laws in 1998 with specialisation in Commercial and Corporate Law.

He was called to the Cyprus Bar in 1999 and joined the firm. In 2004 he was elected, and was until 2006, the treasurer of the Limassol Bar Council.

He specialises in Litigation, Contract and Tort, Company Law and Trusts.

Photini Tsirides

Graduated from City University in 2000 with First Class Honours. She was called to the English Bar as a member of the Honourable Society of Middle Temple in 2001 and completed her Master of Laws with Distinction from University College London in 2002 with specialisation in Maritime Law.

She was called to the Cyprus Bar in 2003 and joined the firm.

She specialises in Litigation, Construction Law and Arbitration, Banking Law and Maritime Law.

Kriton Vladimirou

Kriton A. Vladimirou was born in Limassol in 1954. He studied law in the Athens University and graduated in 1981.He was submitted in the Cyprus Bar Association in 1982. He specializes in labour law, immovable property law and commercial law.

Nicos Elia

He obtained his BSc in Quantity Surveying from Thames Polytechnic College London in 1984 and he was working as a Chartered Quantity Surveyor and Arbitrator until recently.
			
In 2000 he completed his LLB from University of London and in 2003 he passed the Cyprus Legal Council Examinations.

With over 20 years of experience on building and civil engineering projects in Cyprus and Europe, Nicos has started his career and practiced as a Quantity Surveyor until recently.

He has been the Resident Manager of James R. Knowles (Cyprus) Ltd from 1999 until recently, advising on a daily basis, clients on contractual and procurement problems and their resolution, within the engineering and construction industries and also giving support on arbitration and litigation matters.

He lectured in several seminars on Construction Law, Construction Claims, Contractual matters and Arbitration and has been a tutor at training courses for all sections of the construction and engineering industry. As of 1999 he serves as the Treasurer of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (Cyprus Branch).

He is a member of the firm and he is a consultant to James R. Knowles (Cyprus) Ltd on Construction Law matters.

Charis Lafazanis

He graduated from the Law School of Aristotelio University of Thessaloniki in Greece in 1998. He was then called to the Cyprus Bar.

He practices law since then as a general practitioner specializing in Litigation with emphasis in Special Courts Litigation, i.e. Family Law, Rent Control Law and Labour Law.

Stavros Toumbas

He completed his LL.B degree from Coventry University in England, in 2007.
